The I Am 8-Bit 2007 exhibition opened on Tuesday at the Gallery Nineteen Eighty Eight in LA. Thankfully, for those of us too far away to enjoy the video game inspired artwork in person, there are loads of places to get a sampling online:
I thought I posted this a while ago, but obviously not! It’s the trailer for the Disney / Square Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+, which includes the original Kingdom Hearts 2 plus Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, a re-working of the GBA game that, chronologically, sat between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. Interestingly they’ve kept the fighting using cards thing that I really couldn’t get into.
A shame that it looks like it’s only going to be available in Japan though. No details on a EU PAL or US NTSC release yet. (via Penny Arcade)

They sure don’t make TV commercials like they use to. This fantastic ad was for one of my favourite games as a kid, Burger Time, on the Mattel Intellivision. “We’re closed now!”
How did this slip past the radar? Marvel superhero Captain America died last week. The first I’d head of it was when Kotaku mentioned it in reference to an article at Marvel.com on Captain America in video games.
Gabe over at Penny Arcade now has a Playstation 3 and throws out some negatives and positives from his short experience with the console. Bear in mind that the EU’s PS3 is different so, hopefully, ours won’t “burn with the heat of a million suns”.
